Earlier this week, ESPN Honolulu sat down with University of Hawaii soccer player Alexis Mata. The senior goalkeeper out of Woodland, California has had a stellar career at UH. She’s a five-time Big West Defensive Player of the Week as well as a two-time Big West Academic All-Conference Team honoree. Still, she’s focused on capping her Rainbow Wahine career with the program’s first-ever Big West Tournament appearance.
