Born in Hilo, Brooke Van Sickle grew up in Washington state and played two years of college volleyball in Oregon. However, the talented outside hitter has come home to finish her playing career at the University of Hawaii. She recently completed her first season of indoor volleyball, helping the Rainbow Wahine reach the NCAA Tournament. In this interview, Van Sickle talks about playing beach volleyball for UH and why she enjoys the two sports.
