Some of the greatest players in the history of Rainbow Warrior football gathered at Sky Waikiki Lounge & Nightclub last night (Oct. 12) to celebrate the launch of Dick Tomey’s new book, “Rise of the Rainbow Warriors: Ten Unforgettable Years of University of Hawaii Football.” Fans of UH football will have three opportunities next week to meet Coach Tomey and pick up a copy of his insightful memoir:

  1. Tuesday, Oct. 17, 6:00 p.m. at Ruby Tuesday in Moanalua. Coach Tomey will be the featured guest on a special edition of “Call the Coach presented by Coors Light.” His book will be available for purchase, and Coach will be happy to meet you and sign your copy!
  2. Wednesday, Oct. 17, 6:00 p.m. at Hukilau Honolulu in downtown Honolulu. Coach Tomey will hold a public book signing at this special reception. There will be great food and drink specials.
  3. Saturday, Oct. 21, Noon to 1:00 p.m. at Barnes & Noble at Ala Moana Center. Meet Coach Tomey and pick up a copy of his book, “Rise of the Rainbow Warriors.” Proceeds from this book sale will benefit the Na Koa Football Club, the fundraising arm of UH Football.
