The No. 18 (12th seed) University of Hawai’i women’s volleyball team punched its ticket to the Sweet 16 with a 3-1 win over Northern Colorado (26-24, 24-26, 25-8, 25-15) in the opening round on Friday and a sweep over San Diego (25-23, 25-21, 25-21) in the 2nd Round.

The Rainbow Wahine will now travel to Madison, Wisconsin and face No. 6 (5th seed) Nebraska on Friday, Dec. 13 at 11:30 a.m. HT.  Should UH advance, they’ll face the winner of Texas A&M and Wisconsin on Saturday, Dec. 14 at 1 p.m. HT. Here’s the interactive bracket.
