In this “Where Are They Now?” feature, ESPN Honolulu catches up with former University of Hawaii Rainbow Warrior Dancer and Coach Janelle Sanqui. Fulfilling her lifelong passion for serving the community, Janelle is now the Director of Wish Assist at Make-A-Wish Hawaii, which strives to grant the wish of every child with a critical illness. (Every year, there are about 100 keiki in Hawaii newly diagnosed with a critical illness.) Learn more about Janelle and how you can help support this amazing non-profit organization!
Also, Young’s Fish Market has introduced its “Kolten Wong Gold Glove Plate,” which comes with laulau, char siu, chicken long rice, brown rice and spicy ahi poke. A dollar from every plate sold throughout 2020 will be donated to Make-A-Wish Hawaii.
