10th Annual Pa’ani Challenge

The Pa’ani Challenge is an annual two-day event held at Punahou High School that includes the largest girls wrestling tournament in the nation. It was created to give girls from all Hawaiian islands the opportunity to compete against each other despite ocean and league barriers. In fact, the Pa’ani Challenge pays the neighbor island teams’ travel expenses from funds given by Hawai’i businesses and their mainland suppliers. Every girl on a high school wrestling team, regardless of skill level, can attend and compete.

This event also includes a wrestling clinic put on by Roosevelt alumna and Olympic medalist Clarissa Chun, a College & Career Fair, and informational speaker sessions for both coaches and parents.
