Know Your Zebras

Casual sports fans love their favorite athletes and coaches, but the truly diehard fans also recognize the preeminent officials, referees and umpires of the sports world. Oh, we may question their eyesight sometimes and maybe confuse them for vacuum cleaners (“You suck!”), but we also understand that the games we love just wouldn’t be possible without them. Below we’ve listed 12 well-known, Hall of Fame-worthy game officials. Most of them are now either retired or have passed. Your task is simply to match each name with the sport they are primarily associated with: Baseball, Basketball or Football. Sounds easy enough? A score of 7 or more correct answers is a passing grade. So get to it. And no cheating. You wouldn’t want to get assessed a personal foul, would you?
