ESPN Honolulu Scrapbook #12

It’s time again to peek into our photo archives and share some of our favorite memories of life at ESPN Honolulu! This time around, we’ve collected some of our more recent images. Honestly, given the lengthy social distancing measures caused by the coronavirus pandemic, these events already seem like they happened ages ago. Here’s hoping for a return to normalcy and even more great memories in the future. Enjoy your Sunday!

February 2020: The Rainbow Wahine soccer team braved the wet weather to participate in the 2020 Wahine Experience at the University of Hawaii’s Clarence T.C. Ching Field.

September 2019: Brandi Higa (then at KITV-4) and ESPN Honolulu’s Josh Pacheco at a San Francisco Giants watch party at Dave & Buster’s.

October 2018: “Sports Animal” Chris Hart shares a moment with a couple of ambassadors from Malibu Rum.

August 2019: (L-R) Jesse Sapolu, Bob Wagner, Rich Miano, Nick Rolovich, Blane Gaison and June Jones too part in a panel discussion paying tribute to the late Dick Tomey.

December 2018: ESPN Honolulu Sales Coordinator and Associate Art Director Chanel Tsutsuse shows off a copy of the 2018 Hawaiian Airlines Diamond Head Classic souvenir program – a publication that she designed and produced.

July 2018: We got to interview members of one of Hawaii’s most accomplished sports families. (L-R) Zelenograd Lau is a world-class professional surfer; Sarah Lau was a captain on the Rainbow Wahine soccer team; and their dad Leonard Lau is a former UH receiver and current interim head football coach at Punahou.

December 2019: The staff gathered on Fort Street Mall for our company Christmas card. We miss seeing each other in person!
