October 9th, 2006. A rare game night on a Monday featured 11th ranked Hawai`i facing off against Boise State. Playing their third match in a four-day homestand, the Rainbow Wahine capped off the homestand with a third-straight sweep. A 30-22, 30-16, 30-25 win over the Broncos kept the Bows undefeated in Western Athletic Conference play at 6-0, while taking their overall record to 12-4. UH hit .342 for the evening, highlighted by the 18 kill-9 dig performance of Jamie Houston. Juliana Sanders and Sarah Mason each had 11 kills and both hit above .455 in the win. The rally scoring era in collegiate women’s volleyball began with the 2001 season and for the third time in program history, UH tied a rally scoring program record for most service aces in a three-set match. The Rainbow Wahine served up 11 aces, led by the four from Sarah Mason.
