Tonight: “Call the Coach”

Join University of Hawaii men’s basketball head coach Eran Ganot tonight (6:00 p.m.) for “Call the Coach”! Hosted by Bobby Curran, the one hour program will air live on ESPN Honolulu (92.7 FM/1420 AM) and our ESPN Honolulu Facebook page. This is a great opportunity for fans to get the latest scoops on the Rainbow Warrior program AND have your questions by Coach Ganot himself.

Coming off a pair of home losses to Big West Conference leader UC Santa Barbara, Hawaii is currently 7-7 overall and 5-7 in conference play. They are sixth in the Big West standings with six more games remaining until the start of the Big West postseason tournament (March 11-13). The remaining games are against Cal State Northridge (away, Feb. 19 and 20), Long Beach State (home, Feb. 26 and 27) and UC Davis (away, March 5 and 6).

Call in or text your questions for Coach Ganot at 296-1420.

Some questions that we’re curious about:

♦ What’s the latest on the injury status of sophomore forward-center Bernardo da Silva?

♦ What can the team do to eliminate these long scoring droughts that hurt them during games?

♦ Any chance of giving true freshman Beon Riley more minutes?

♦ Would you consider experimenting with having Mate Colina and James Jean-Marie in the lineup atbthe same time?

♦ How many scholarships are available for recruiting? What specific positions are you focused on?
