True or False?

Back in the day, my favorite test questions at school were always the TRUE-FALSE ones. I mean, hey, you have a 50-50 shot at getting it right! So for today’s edition of Trivia Tuesday, we’re giving you a set of true-false questions about some of your favorite University of Hawaii sports. Try these out and see how well you do!

1. Robyn Ah Mow is the all-time assists leader in Rainbow Wahine volleyball history.

2. Laura Beeman’s first four seasons as the UH women’s basketball head coach all resulted in postseason appearances.

3. Although still a redshirt sophomore, UH QB Chevan Cordeiro is already in the Top 10 among the school’s all-time leaders in passing yards.

4. Todd Graham’s previous head coaching stops prior to Hawaii were Rice, Tulsa, Pittsburgh and Arizona State.

5. Predrag Savovic briefly played in the NBA.

6. Rainbow Wahine shortstop Jessica Iwata earned All-Conference honors all four seasons of her UH career.

1. FALSE. Kanoe Kamana‘o is the program’s all-time assists leader.

2. TRUE. Beeman guided the Rainbow Wahine to three WNIT and an NCAA Tournament appearances in her first four seasons.

3. FALSE. Cordeiro currently ranks 15th on the list. A 3,000-yard season in 2021, however, would elevate him into the Top Five.

4. TRUE.

5. TRUE. “Savo” played 27 games for the Denver Nuggets in the 2002-03 season, averaging 3.1 points.

6. TRUE. Iwata was named First-Team All-WAC in 2010, 2011 and 2012, and First-Team All-Big West in 2013.

7. FALSE. Brennan was previously at Colorado.

8. FALSE. Wong left UH to turn professional after his junior year.

9. TRUE.

10. FALSE. Carter was not drafted. The last UH player to be drafted was Reggie Cross in 1989.
