By Lance Tominaga, ESPN Honolulu Web Editor.

If you’re a young football player looking to improve your agility, be sure to check out ESPN Honolulu’s Virtual Sports Fest by UnitedHealthcare Community Plan and presented by The Bump Card Team. Tomorrow at 4:00 p.m., we’re debuting an exclusive football drills demo led by former University of Hawaii standout Chad Owens.

As he explains in the video, these drills are designed to improve your footwork and change-of-direction prowess. Best of all, all you need is a set of cones and an open field to practice on!

Owens, a 2004 All-American who set an NCAA record for punt returns for touchdowns in a single season (5), remains Hawaii’s career leader in all-purpose yards (5,461) and punt return yards (1,014). He also holds the NCAA record for most kickoff return yards in a single game (342). He was drafted by the Jacksonville Jaguars in 2005 and went on to become one of the most exciting players in CFL history, winning two Grey Cups and earning the league’s “Most Outstanding Player Award” in 2012.

Today, among his other endeavors, Owens hosts “The CO2 RUN DWN,” a Facebook Live show presented by the Honolulu Star-Advertiser every Monday, Wednesday and Friday.
