University of Hawaii soccer standout Kayla Ryan will be our featured guest on our next ESPN Honolulu “Fan Friday: Talk Story” session. Hosted by Tiff Wells, the Zoom interview will be available for viewing starting tomorrow (Friday) at 10:00 a.m. on our ESPN Honolulu Facebook page.

Ryan, a senior forward from San Jose, California, was recently selected to the preseason All-Big West Team. She is the Rainbow Wahine’s leading scorer from the 2019 campaign, finishing with 14 points and 7 goals. She also led the team in shot percentage (.292). For her efforts, Ryan was named to the All-Big West First Team that season.

The Rainbow Wahine did not have a season in 2020 due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
