Tomorrow: Brooke Van Sickle

She’s full of thrills, spills…and kills! University of Hawaii women’s volleyball standout Brooke Van Sickle will be our featured guest tomorrow on ESPN Honolulu’s “Fan Friday: Talk Story” session!

Van Sickle, a redshirt-senior outside hitter from Battle Ground, Washington, currently leads the Rainbow Wahine in kills (4.02/set), digs (3.33/set) and service aces (17). She is a big reason why Hawaii is 6-0 in the Big West Conference.

In this exclusive Zoom interview, Van Sickle joins host Dave Kawada for a lively conversation about her passion for the game of volleyball, her Hawaii roots (she was born in Hilo), losing the 2020 season due to the COVID-19 pandemic, and her time as a Rainbow Wahine beach volleyball player.

Don’t miss this “Talk Story” episode with Brooke Van Sickle. The interview will be available for viewing on our ESPN Honolulu Facebook page tomorrow (Friday) starting at 10:00 a.m.!

The Rainbow Wahine are back in action this weekend. They host Cal Poly tomorrow night at SimpliFi Arena at Stan Sheriff Center (broadcast on ESPN Honolulu) and CSU Bakersfield on Saturday (CBS 1500). Our coverage for both matches will start at 6:45 p.m. Tiff Wells will call the action!
