Trailing by as many as 13 points in the third quarter, the University of Hawaii women’s basketball team roared back to notch a thrilling 57-50 come-from-behind victory over Big West rival UC Davis.

Sophomore guard Olivia Davies led the comeback effort for the Rainbow Wahine, scoring 17 points (tying a career high). Forward Amy Atwell added 14 points, while fellow graduate student Kaolin Spiller recorded a career-high 12 rebounds.

The Rainbow Wahine are now 9-8 on the season and 5-2 in the Big West. The Aggies fell to 9-9 (3-5 in the Big West). Up next for the team is a home game on Saturday against UC Riverside (6-8, 3-4). ESPN Honolulu (92.7 FM/1420 AM) will bring you the game starting at 5:50 p.m.
