Photos: Hawaii 62, CSU Bakersfield 50

A late second-half surged propelled the University of Hawaii men’s basketball to a 62-50 “Senior Night” victory over CSU Bakersfield last night at SimpliFi Arena at Stan Sheriff Center.

Center Bernardo Da Silva paced the Rainbow Warriors with 14 points and six rebounds. Guard JoVon McClanahan added 11 points and six assists, while guard Junior Madut contributed 10 points.

Madut, Jerome Desrosiers and Mate Colina were honored after the game in an emotional “Senior Night” ceremony. It was the home finale for the ’Bows, who are now 9-4 in the Big West Conference (15-9 overall). With two games left in the regular season, Hawaii stands alone in third place in the Big West, trailing co-leaders Long Beach State and Cal State Fullerton.
