After a sluggish start to the series against Cal State Fullerton (CSF) on Friday, the Rainbow Warrior Baseball team demonstrated a complete turnaround in their second and third game. A two-run home run from Stone Miyao and a clutch 2 RBI single from Bronson Rivera proved to be the difference-maker in Game 2 as the ‘Bows won by one run, 6-5.

In Game 3, seven ‘Bows amassed two hits or more in the 17-3 Hawaii win. With two outs and the bases loaded in the bottom of the 2nd, Cole Cabrera hit a grand slam on an 0-2 count to give the ‘Bows a 4-2 lead. Cabrera went 4-for-4 today, scored 5 times, and was hit by a pitch twice. Andy Archer came in after Buddy Pindel got the win for the ‘Bows as he went 3.1 innings and gave up 1 run on 3 hits. Cameron Hagan supplied Hawaii with 3.1 innings on the mound while Tyler Dyball made his 2022 debut on the mound to close out the game.

With the win, the ‘Bows move into second place in the Big West Conference standings with a conference record of 13-8 and an overall record of 20-19.
