The Pacific Rim Cup’s Soccer Clinic is back! Yesterday, nearly 400 keiki participated clinic at the Waipio Peninsula Soccer Complex. Coaches include former Japan national women’s team coach Asako Takakura, former Japan national team player Takuya Yamada, former Seattle Sounders players Shandon Hopeau and Kenji Treschuk of Hawaii.
Pacific Rim Cup, the organizer of the professional games last held at Aloha Stadium in 2019, is bringing back the clinic to continue its commitment of mentoring local soccer youth with hopes of returning with the professional tournament games in 2023.
