This past Saturday marked an unforgettable start to the O’ahu Pentathlon, sponsored by the HI Army National Guard. From sunrise to sunrise, participants and spectators were shown a display of athleticism and determination. Covering an impressive 135-mile distance encircling the island, this event showcased the true spirit of challenge and adventure.
The O’ahu Pentathlon pushed athletes to their limits with its five demanding legs. From a 2-mile swim, 3-mile run, 14-mile paddle, 11-mile ruck, to a 95-mile bike ride. Athletes competed in teams but also as individuals.
