Hawaii Players Help Western Washington Vikings Reach NCAA Division II Final Four

The Western Washington University softball team capped a stellar 47-13 season by advancing to the NCAA Division II Final Four. Hawaii natives Kanilehua Pitoy (Roosevelt), Kaiana Kong (Campbell), and Joie Baker (Mililani) played pivotal roles throughout the year, proudly representing the 808.

Although the Vikings fell 2-0 to top-seeded UT Tyler in the semifinals, their strong pitching, defense, and teamwork were on full display. Pitoy ended her career with a school-record 218 hits, highlighting a season and career to remember.
