Biles is also trying to become just the third gymnast to win consecutive all-around gold medals. Her quest for those begins Saturday. Swimming: The star-studded American team -- with Katie Ledecky and Caeleb Dressel -- will be in the pool tonight. In Tokyo, Ledecky will race in the 200-, 400-, 800- and, for the first time in Olympic history, the 1,500-meter freestyle races. Top Olympic storylines • According to Caesars Sportsbook by William Hill, the women of Team USA are favored at +125 to take gold in the Olympics' first 3-on-3 basketball tournament. Serbia's men's team is favored at the same spread. • For the first time since 1996, Michael Phelps won't participate in any swimming events for Team USA.
