The 2020 Wahine Experience was held on Saturday, Feb. 1, at the University of Hawaii’s T.C. Ching Complex. Hundreds of young families braved the wet weather conditions to take part in activities and games hosted by various Rainbow Wahine programs. UH women’s head basketball coach Laura Beeman was the event’s Guest of Honor, and KHON2’s Kelly Simek and ESPN Honolulu’s Bobby Curran – both UH alums themselves – served as hosts. Young fans got to meet their favorite players and coaches from the UH Rainbow Wahine volleyball, tennis, soccer, softball, sailing, swimming/diving, beach volleyball, golf ,and cross country/track and field teams. Even new head football coach Todd Graham made an appearance to support the Rainbow Wahine.
