Every new year brings new hopes and expectations, and while the COVID-19 pandemic ravaged last year’s sports calendar, there is optimism that this year will see the return at least some of the big events that we missed in 2021. Of course, the pandemic continues to be a major concern, and sadly many of our local collegiate and high school sports seasons have been canceled. So, with our fingers crossed, here is a list of major sports events that are still scheduled to take place this year:
