The University of Hawaii women’s basketball team held its home opener at SimpliFi Arena at Stan Sheriff Center Friday night, hanging tough with the Portland Pilots before falling, 91-77. The Rainbow Wahine were led by senior forward Amy Atwell, who scored a career-high 30 points.

Hawaii will host Portland State tonight at 5:00 p.m. ESPN Honolulu will bring you the game live, with Dave Kawada and Tiff Wells bringing you the action.
