After falling behind 10-7 in the first quarter, the Kaimuki Bulldogs outscored the Waipahu Marauders 16-2 to take a 23-12 lead going into halftime. The Bulldogs were able to fend off a couple of comeback attempts from the Marauders to win the 2022 DII OIA Championship.
Matthew Olaivar led the Marauders with 14 points. Ashton Rivera had himself a double-double, scoring 12 points and amassing 12 rebounds for the Marauders. For the Bulldogs, Jeremiah White scored a team-high 13 points. Malu Cleveland and Kesykil Renton both scored 10 points for the Bulldogs.
