This week’s Fan Friday: Talk Story guest is University of Hawai’i track and field standout, Alyssa Mae Antolin from Kihei, Maui! Here are some highlight from her Freshman year via Hawaii Athletics.
Freshman (2021):
- Finished third overall in the 200-meter dash at the Big West Championships.
- Set the program’s seventh-fastest 200-meter dash time with a a personal record in prelims at the Big West Championships (24.50).
- Ran the 10th fastest 100-meter dash time in school history at the Fullerton Spring Invite (12.28).
- Won the 200 at the Fullerton Spring Invite.
- One of three UH medalists at the Big West Championships.
Prior to UH:
- COVID-19 year in 2020 at Northern Colorado.
Prep:
- 2018 Hawai’i State Champion in the 200-meter dash.
- 2018 Hawai’i State Runner Up in the 100-meter dash.
- 2016 Maui Interscholastic League Champion in the 100 and 200.
- 2016 third place finish in the 200 at the Hawai’i State Championships.
- 2015-16 Maui High School Rookie of the Year in soccer.
- 2017-18 MHS Offensive Player of the Year in soccer.
- Two-time MHS Female MVP.
