Today, ESPN Honolulu was at the opening of the new TRUE Esports + Tech Lab in the Waipahu Public Library. Keegan Ohta ran a live broadcast of the event and interviewed a number of pivotal individuals who helped to make the event possible, i.e. Governor David Ige, President of Pacxa Kelly Ueoka, and the Chairman and CEO of Central Pacific Financial Corp Paul K. Yonamine.
Meanwhile, two teams, made up of the University of Hawaii and HPU students faced off in an exhibition League of Legends match where Team Amber beat Team Lilac.
