The Maryknoll Varsity Softball Team defeated cross-street rival Punahou in an 8-0 shutout on their Monday matchup.

The Spartans opened with 1 run in the first inning before creating a comfortable lead with a 5-run inning in the fourth. Holding out any runs from Punahou, they sealed the game when they added two more runs in the seventh.
