The Waialua football team dominated their homecoming game against McKinley, winning 39-6. They made five interceptions, two of which resulted in touchdowns. Jayvie Arellano led the offense with six catches for 100 yards and a touchdown. Makoakai Fierro contributed with 76 rushing yards and a touchdown, along with successful field goals. Jack Amancio stood out on defense with two interceptions, setting up scores for Waialua. Zayne Kalulu and Rayden Wilson also scored on interceptions. Despite their efforts, McKinley managed to avoid a shutout with a long interception return for a touchdown. Waialua’s record improved to 3-4 overall and 2-3 in league play. McKinley’s record fell to 0-6, 0-5.
