In the first round of the 2023 OIA DI Girl’s Volleyball Tournament, Leilehua defeats Kaiser in five sets. The Mules claimed the first two sets in a bit of a convincing fashion but the Cougars came alive in the third set to avoid getting swept. Kaiser maintained the momentum in the match and took set 4, winning by a 17 point margin.
In the tie breaking fifth set, Leilehua composed themselves and won 15-9 to advance to the quarter-final round where they will take on no.1 seed Moanalua.
