Our women’s basketball team are two-time defending Big West Conf champs, representing our department, university, and state with pride under head coach Laura Beeman. This past Saturday, we set a new attendance record under coach Beeman with 5,068 tickets issued. But records are meant to be broken and why not break it on senior night on Saturday, March 2nd. At least that’s our goal – last Saturday’s game was too much fun to not try to do it again.
And since you have been such loyal supporters thru the years, we are going to open the Ed Wong Hospitality Room one hour prior to 7pm tipoff. It’ll be $25 per person – comes with a taco buffet and a no-host bar. Room will open at 6pm when arena gates open and will stay open for you till the start of the 2nd half – so feel free to order beverages from the room and take back to your arena seats, you can beat the upstairs concourse beer lines. Unfortunately, you can’t take food outside of the Ed Wong Room. For those of you that come to Men’s Basketball and UH Volleyball – the room passes that you purchase thru Koa Anuenue are $20/person, but I’ve asked to upgrade the food for this one game to a taco buffet; so we have to charge a little bit more.
