Hawai‘i’s Sage and Levi “Luck” Cruz have solidified their place among the best young grapplers in the world.
Sage Cruz, a 4x IBJJF Pan Kids Champion, now holds the #1 Abu Dhabi Combat Club (ADCC) Youth world ranking after earning an impressive 10 ADCC gold medals. His younger brother, Levi, has climbed to #5 in the world, adding 8 ADCC golds to his own resume.
Both brothers are also Hawai‘i State Wrestling Champions, training daily at Island Jiu Jitsu and Flow Wrestling Academy. Their relentless drilling, live rounds, and conditioning — combined with thousands of miles traveled to compete in cities such as San Diego, San Jose, Oklahoma City, Dallas, Atlanta, Miami, and Las Vegas — have made them two of the most dominant youth grapplers in the sport.
Their rise is a testament to discipline, family support, and elite coaching — proving that even from a small island in the Pacific, athletes can reach the very top of the global stage.
