Hawai‘i Kai Elite Captures 10U Cal Ripken World Championship

The Cal Ripken 10U World Championship came down to an all-Hawai‘i matchup, with Hawai‘i Kai Elite and the Manoa All-Stars battling for the crown.

Hawai‘i Kai finished off a perfect tournament run with a 10-0 win over Manoa in the title game. Austin Cruz was named World Series Most Outstanding Player after leading the way on the mound throughout the week.

The Elite struck early, taking a quick lead and building momentum by the third inning. In the fifth, Zaedyn Moniz launched a three-run home run that all but sealed the victory before Hawai‘i Kai closed it out with their 10th run.

Though Manoa fell short in the final, the All-Stars had an impressive run of their own, dominating opponents to earn a spot in the championship game.
