Moanalua (2-2) protected their home field on Friday night with a 49–35 victory over Nānākuli (1-2) in a high-scoring showdown.

The Na Menehune struck early and never slowed down, finding the end zone in every quarter to keep the Golden Hawks at bay. Nānākuli answered with big plays of their own to keep the game close, but Moanalua’s offense proved too much down the stretch.

With the win, Moanalua evens its record at 2-2 and looks to carry the momentum into their next matchup against Aiea on September 5.
