Honolulu All-Stars Punch Ticket Back to Williamsport

The Honolulu All-Stars are Williamsport-bound once again after capturing the Major Division West Regional championship with a 4-1 win over Fullerton, California, on Thursday.

Kuana Payanal’s RBI double in the second inning gave Honolulu a 3-0 cushion, and Mason Mitani’s solo homer in the fifth added insurance. Starting pitcher Bronson Fermahin was lights-out, striking out 11 before Mitani closed the game to earn the save.

Manager Gerald Oda now leads Honolulu to its fourth Little League World Series appearance, chasing the program’s third world title in eight years. Honolulu previously won championships in 2018 and 2022, joining Ewa Beach (2005) and Waipio (2008) as Hawai‘i’s LLWS winners.

The 2025 Little League World Series begins Aug. 13 in Williamsport, Pennsylvania.
