No. 1 Bishop Gorman Shuts Out Kahuku, 38–0

No. 1 Bishop Gorman flexed its firepower in a 38–0 shutout of Kahuku on Saturday night.

Quarterback Maika Eugenio was sharp from the start, completing 31 of 38 passes for 367 yards and three touchdowns. His favorite target, Kaina Watson, hauled in eight catches for 124 yards and a score, while Trent Walker added 85 yards and a touchdown. Zyren Menor also found the end zone, giving the Gaels a balanced passing attack that Kahuku couldn’t slow down.

The Red Raiders’ highlight came on defense, where Teave Crawford led the way with nine total tackles and an interception. But Kahuku’s offense struggled to gain traction against Gorman’s physical front, managing just 92 total yards.

With the win, Bishop Gorman (1-0) reinforces its standing as the nation’s top program, while Kahuku (2-2) turns its focus back to local competition.
