Waipahu defends their OIA DI title with victory over Farrington

In the 2023 OIA Division I title game, the reigning Waipahu Marauders demonstrated their dominance, defeating Farrington 48-26 at John Kauinana Stadium. Quarterback Elijah Mendoza shone, throwing for 334 yards and four touchdowns, leading the Marauders (6-4) to their 14th league title. The Marauders secured the second seed and a first-round bye in the state football championships. They await the winner of Damien and Farrington for their next matchup on Nov. 11 at Kaiser.
