Kainoa Wade Named Pan American Cup MVP as Team USA Wins Gold

University of Hawaiʻi standout Kainoa Wade helped lead the U.S. Men's U21 National Team to a gold medal at the 2026 NORCECA U21 Pan American Cup in Guatemala.

Team USA finished its championship run with a dominant 3-0 victory over Canada in the gold medal match. Wade was recognized as the tournament's Most Valuable Player and Best Server for his outstanding play throughout the competition.

Fellow Rainbow Warrior Trevell Jordan also played a key role in Team USA's title run, while former University of Hawaiʻi men's volleyball assistant coach Donan Cruz served as the team's head coach.

Congratulations to Kainoa, Trevell and Team USA on bringing home gold.
