The University of Hawai‘i women’s basketball team is headed to the Big West Championship after knocking off top-seeded UC Irvine 67-63 in an overtime thriller Friday at Lee’s Family Forum in Henderson, Nevada.

The University of Hawai‘i women’s basketball team closed out its home schedule with a 67-49 win over Cal State Fullerton on Senior Night at Bankoh Arena.

The Rainbow Wahine are headed to the postseason.

The University of Hawaiʻi women’s basketball team secured a berth in the Big West Women's Basketball Championship with a 71–54 road win over Cal Poly Mustangs on Thursday night at the Mott Athletics Center. The victory marked Hawaiʻi’s ninth win in its last 10 games and completed a regular-season sweep of the Mustangs.

After dominating New Zealand secondary school basketball, standout guard Bailey Flavell found herself at a crossroads with her basketball future: deciding where to play in the United States.

Flavell received offers from numerous schools along the West Coast and had just returned from a visit to the University of Hawai‘i, but was nowhere near a decision.
