Wahine Volleyball goes 0-3 at Stanford Invitational

On its first road trip of the year, the University of Hawai’i Rainbow Wahine Volleyball team went 0-3 at the Stanford Invitational, losing 3-0 to Stanford and UCLA, and 4-1 Texas State.

The Wahine could not get the offense going in Palo Alto, hitting .179 against Stanford, .090 against UCLA, and .142 against Texas State.  

Miliana Sylvester had a career weekend, hitting a season-high eight kills against Texas State, and seven against UCLA.

Junior outside hitter Stella Adeyemi went down with a foot injury against UCLA, her timetable is not yet confirmed.

Hawai’i returns to the islands to begin conference play against UC Riverside at 7 p.m. September 26 at the Bank of Hawai’i Arena at the Stan Sheriff Center.
