But this meeting may mark the end of an era. With Fresno State (3-1) set to join the PAC-12 on July 1, 2026, this could be the final matchup between the two programs for the foreseeable future. Saturdayβs showdown will be the 57th all-time meeting between the Bulldogs and the Rainbow Warriors (3-1), a rivalry that began in 1938 with the inaugural Pineapple Bowl.

The University of HawaiΚ»i Rainbow Warriors capped their weekend with another 20-plus-point win, rolling past Cal State Northridge 89β68 on Saturday night.
HawaiΚ»i struggled to find its range from beyond the arc early, shooting just 1-for-12 from three in the first half. But the Rainbow Warriors caught fire late before the break, sparked by back-to-back threes from junior forward Ike Finlinson and a pop-out triple from senior center Isaac βBig Fishβ Johnson to close the half.
