Hawaiʻi’s next generation of student-athletes will take the spotlight on March 19, 2026, as the inaugural Hawaiʻi Gridiron Games kick off at Mililani High School.
The purpose-driven showcase brings together elite competition, mentorship, and community impact, powered by the I’m Inspired Foundation, founded by Dillon Gabriel, in partnership with the Ho‘ea Foundation and Rock ’Em.
Mānoa Magic Returns as Hawai‘i Takes Series Over Gonzaga
Mānoa Magic is back.
In the bottom of the 10th inning with no outs and runners on first and second, junior shortstop Elijah Ickes squared around to bunt, looking to drop down a sacrifice and load the bases. Ickes executed perfectly, forcing Gonzaga redshirt junior third baseman Mikey Bell to charge in, hoping to turn a double play.

Fallen Trees Make Loud Noises…Twice – As the age-old question goes, “if a tree falls in a forest and no one is around to hear it, does it make a sound?” After a week off and defrosting from the cold Pennsylvania winter weather, the Rainbow Warriors were back on the road again, this time on The Farm at Stanford. The Bows remembered all too well what happened on night two of the series last year in Honolulu when the Cardinal upset Hawai`i in four sets. There wasn’t a sense of payback or needing to atone for what happened last year, last year was last year.

Kohala Caps Perfect Season With D-II State Title
Kohala completed an unbeaten season with a wire-to-wire 49–35 win over Seabury Hall to claim the Division II boys basketball state championship.
The Cowboys set the tone early with an 18–2 first quarter and leaned on their defense all night to keep the Spartans in check. Layden Kauka led the way with 28 points, five rebounds and three assists, earning tournament Most Outstanding Player honors for the third time and helping secure Kohala’s fourth state title overall.

After an unusually steep and treacherous climb, the Kahuku boys basketball team finally reached the mountain top Friday night by rallying past Punahou, 40-38, in a thriller to win the Hawai'i Army National Guard State Championship.
A spirited and vocal crowd of 2,438 in BankOh Arena at the Stan Sheriff Center watched Inoke Lloyd score the winning basket on a backdoor layup with four seconds remaining to help the Red Raiders to finish the season at 25-4 and win their first state championship since 2017. Defending champ Punahou, which led 10-2 after one period and 20-6 just 34 seconds before halftime, ended up at 27-9.
Kahuku holds off Saint Louis, 42-38, to reach state final
Digging down deep once again to gold off its second straight ILH opponent, Kahuku held off Saint Louis, 42-38, Thursday night in the Hawai'i Army National Guard Boys Basketball State Semifinals.
A tense crowd of about 500 at Hemmeter Field House watched Justus Daley score 12 points and grab eight rebounds as the Red Raiders improved to 24-4 and advanced to Friday night's title game against defending champion Punahou. Keanu Meacham scored a game-high 18 points and Zion Lefotu added 10 points for the Crusaders, who fell to 27-6 and out of the finals for the first time since 2021.

University of Hawai‘i men’s volleyball head coach Charlie Wade has assembled a juggernaut this season. The Warriors are so deep and so dangerous that even the next man up looks like an All-American.
When star opposite hitter Kristian Titriyski went down, Wade turned to a familiar replacement: his son, Kainoa. 1. Adversity From The Get Go – Winter Storm Fern didn’t care if this was UH’s first trip to the Northeast in quite some time. Two separate flight itineraries were cancelled due to weather. Eventually, they got a non-stop flight to Chicago where...another weather delay forced them to stay the night in the area. The Rainbow Warriors eventually landed in The Quaker State Tuesday afternoon, a day later than originally planned and some 28 hours before their first match. The first ever trip to Loretto, PA included snow flurries and an outside temperature of three degrees at first serve against Saint Francis.

Hawaiʻi Buries CSUN with Second-Half Surge in 89–68 Win
The University of Hawaiʻi Rainbow Warriors capped their weekend with another 20-plus-point win, rolling past Cal State Northridge 89–68 on Saturday night.
Hawaiʻi struggled to find its range from beyond the arc early, shooting just 1-for-12 from three in the first half. But the Rainbow Warriors caught fire late before the break, sparked by back-to-back threes from junior forward Ike Finlinson and a pop-out triple from senior center Isaac “Big Fish” Johnson to close the half.
Rainbow Warrior Baseball Welcomes Alumni, Prepares for 2026 Season
A strong sense of tradition will be on display as the Hawaiʻi baseball program welcomes back approximately 50 alumni representing every era of Rainbow Warrior baseball. Bullock hits 1,000 career points in Hawai‘i’s 98–71 win over CSUB
With 19:35 left in the first half and the score tied at 0-0, graduate guard Dre Bullock took the inbounds pass as Cal State Bakersfield set up a full-court press, looking to force an early turnover against the University of Hawai‘i Rainbow Warriors.
Bullock read it instantly. He blew past the pressure with a speed dribble, leaving multiple Roadrunner defenders behind. Seeing a clear lane to the basket, Bullock attacked the paint and threw down a vicious tomahawk slam, igniting the crowd and opening the scoring for Hawai‘i.
