Crusaders shut out Spartans, 13-0 in mercy-rule win

Saint Louis (2-2) put together a complete performance in a 13-0 win over Maryknoll (0-4), ending the game after five innings via mercy rule.
The Crusaders scored in every inning, including a five-run fourth, while Aycen Fernandez and Isaiah Poloa led the way at the plate.
Saint Louis took advantage of walks and aggressive baserunning to keep pressure on throughout, while the pitching staff combined for a one-hit shutout.
With the win, the Crusaders even their record at 2-2, while Maryknoll remains in search of its first victory at 0-4.
