Hawai‘i Advances to NCAA Championship Match With Win Over Long Beach State
The Rainbow Warriors earned redemption after falling to the Beach in the Big West Championship final two weeks ago, winning by set scores of 25-15, 18-25, 25-21, 25-22 to improve to 29-5 on the season.
Justin Todd delivered a career performance with 10 blocks, while Kristian Titriyski led Hawai‘i with 14 kills. Louis Sakanoko and Adrien Roure also finished with double-digit kills, and setter Tread Rosenthal guided the offense with 36 assists.
Hawai‘i will face UC Irvine in the NCAA Championship match on Monday at 1 p.m. HST with the national title on the line.
