Holloway Falls to Oliveira in BMF Title Fight
Charles Oliveira captured the BMF title with a dominant unanimous decision win over Hawai‘i’s Max Holloway in the main event of UFC 326 at T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas.
Oliveira leaned heavily on his grappling, securing takedowns in all five rounds and controlling much of the 25-minute fight. Holloway showed toughness throughout, defending multiple submission attempts and battling to the final bell, but was unable to generate enough offense as Oliveira earned the victory on all three scorecards.
Despite the loss, Hawai‘i showed out in support of Holloway, who once again displayed incredible sportsmanship following the fight.
