Storm Threat Forces UH Athletics Schedule Changes

A storm system expected to impact the islands has led to several cancellations and schedule adjustments for University of Hawai‘i athletic events this weekend following the closure of the UH Mānoa campus.

Here are the UH athletic events that have been cancelled due to the storm:

Cancelled

  • OUTRIGGER Invitational (Men’s Volleyball) – All Friday matches at the Stan Sheriff Center

  • Rainbow Wahine Volleyball Kaua‘i Trip – Saturday open practice and keiki clinic

Postponed / Rescheduled (Not cancelled)

  • Rainbow Wahine Softball vs. Cal State Fullerton

    • Friday doubleheader moved to Sunday (12 p.m. & 2:30 p.m.)

    • Teams will attempt to play Thursday at 6 p.m. weather permitting

Still Scheduled (Pending weather)

  • No. 3 Hawai‘i vs. No. 1 UCLA (Men’s Volleyball) – Saturday, 7 p.m.

  • Lewis vs. Mount Olive (Men’s Volleyball) – Saturday, 4 p.m.
