Wahine Volleyball goes 0-3 at Stanford Invitational
On its first road trip of the year, the University of Hawai’i Rainbow Wahine Volleyball team went 0-3 at the Stanford Invitational, losing 3-0 to Stanford and UCLA, and 4-1 Texas State.
The Wahine could not get the offense going in Palo Alto, hitting .179 against Stanford, .090 against UCLA, and .142 against Texas State.

With just 14 seconds left in the fourth quarter, redshirt freshman quarterback Micah Alejado lined up in the shotgun formation on third and two at the Fresno State 10-yard line. Off to its best start since 2019, the University of Hawai’i Rainbow Warrior football team begins Mountain West play this Saturday against long-time rival Fresno State, closing out a three-game homestand.
But this meeting may mark the end of an era. With Fresno State (3-1) set to join the PAC-12 on July 1, 2026, this could be the final matchup between the two programs for the foreseeable future. Saturday’s showdown will be the 57th all-time meeting between the Bulldogs and the Rainbow Warriors (3-1), a rivalry that began in 1938 with the inaugural Pineapple Bowl.

Barfield breaks through as Hawai’i dominates Portland State

Hawaiʻi Buries CSUN with Second-Half Surge in 89–68 Win
The University of Hawaiʻi Rainbow Warriors capped their weekend with another 20-plus-point win, rolling past Cal State Northridge 89–68 on Saturday night.
Hawaiʻi struggled to find its range from beyond the arc early, shooting just 1-for-12 from three in the first half. But the Rainbow Warriors caught fire late before the break, sparked by back-to-back threes from junior forward Ike Finlinson and a pop-out triple from senior center Isaac “Big Fish” Johnson to close the half.
