Joshua Walker Named Head Coach of Rainbow Wahine Volleyball

The University of Hawaiʻi has selected Joshua Walker as the next head coach of the Rainbow Wahine volleyball program.

Walker returns to Mānoa after serving as Associate Head Coach at Baylor and gaining international experience with USA Volleyball. A former UH All-American and national championship-winning assistant coach with the Rainbow Warrior volleyball program, Walker brings a wealth of experience to one of the nation's most storied volleyball programs.

During his seven seasons on the UH men's volleyball coaching staff, Walker helped guide the Rainbow Warriors to back-to-back NCAA national championships in 2021 and 2022. He was also named AVCA Assistant Coach of the Year in 2019.

Walker becomes just the fourth head coach in Rainbow Wahine volleyball history.
