Kapaʻa Rallies From 14 Down to Tie Punahou, 14-14
Punahou jumped out to a 14-0 first-quarter lead, but Kapaʻa answered with touchdowns in the second and third quarters as the teams finished in a 14-14 tie Saturday afternoon at Punahou.
Punahou quarterback Tai Utoafili threw for 177 yards and two touchdowns, while Aaron Johnson rushed for 105 yards. Kapaʻa was led on the ground by Sonny Thomas with 62 yards and Kaisen Mundon with 61 yards and a touchdown.
