Pearl City QBs Power Chargers Past El Capitan
Pearl City used a two-quarterback attack to pick up a 28-21 victory over El Capitan (Calif.).
Brydan Gaoiran and Jayden Delos Santos combined for four touchdown passes to lead the Chargers’ offense. Gaoiran completed 10 of 16 passes for 149 yards and two touchdowns, while Delos Santos went 7-for-10 for 92 yards and two scores. Neither quarterback threw an interception.
Maiaku Lii was Pearl City’s leading target, finishing with eight receptions for 100 yards and a touchdown. Zayden Rodrigues added four catches for 60 yards and a score, while Elijah Tuifua and Ryder Rabara also hauled in touchdown passes.
Pearl City finished with 241 passing yards in the victory as the Chargers held off El Capitan for the seven-point win.
